Quick addendum:

Gurucharn’s having surgery at the end of the month for a new kidney, which means that this will be his last Tuesday night class until further notice. To honor Gurucharn, there will be an Akhand Path in New Mexico. An Akhand Path is a 48-hour non-stop reading of the Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh’s 1,430-page holy book and at the same time their living guru. This reading is done at hard times or on occasions of elation or joy. Lots of spiritual mojo! Valerie will be honoring Gurucharn and the readers by donating all proceeds from her Thursday and Friday classes to the New Mexico community.

1. Gurucharn’s class is 7 pm tonight, Tuesday, July 22
I haven’t been able to attend the Tues & Thurs classes due to a work conflict, so please feel free to use my sheepskin. I miss these classes a lot. I usually arrive at the end of yogi tea time, when everyone’s all blissed out, in happy conversation on the floor or on the patio. There’s such good energy at this place during those times. All classes by donation. Directions and a map to class can be found at http://michigankundaliniyoga.com/troy.htm

2. Other Kundalini Yoga Classes This Week: Valerie’s teaching Sunday at Namasté Yoga and Thursday & Friday at Community Yoga, 4907 Carol Dr., Troy, MI (plus a NEW class — see below)
Please join us for class on Thursday 7 pm and Friday at 2 pm in Troy, and Sunday at 4:30 pm at Namasté Yoga. Troy classes are always by donation, and a simple meal is served after the Thursday class. Namasté Yoga is celebrating its 10th anniversary, with lots of special activities all year, and some special low prices. No experience needed for any of these classes. Newcomers always welcome.

3. And a NEW CLASS Wednesday nights in Troy starting 7 p.m., this Wednesday, July 23
Our new teacher in Troy will be Prabhupreet (yay!), who will be offering some yoga and lots of sound vibration. She owns a great big wonderful gong, and there’s nothing like a Wednesday night gong bath. By donation.
